You talk to the builder

You reach the person who actually builds your system — based in Inuvik, in your time zone — not a ticket queue or an account manager down south.

Clear prices, plain language

06 / Common questions

Questions people ask before they call.

Straight answers to what people actually want to know — price, coverage, and what happens next.

How much does a website cost in the Northwest Territories?

Websites start at $499 CAD, and a complete operations system with a website starts at $999 CAD. What moves the number is scope — how many pages, whether you need forms, and whether the site has to connect to anything else you already use. You see the price before any work begins.

Do you work with businesses outside Yellowknife?

Yes. We're based in Inuvik and build for businesses in every Northwest Territories community — Yellowknife, Hay River, Fort Smith, Fort Simpson, Norman Wells, Tuktoyaktuk, Behchokǫ̀ and beyond. The work runs the same way whether you're down the road or a flight away: we map how you work, build it, then keep it running.

What do I need to have ready before we start?

Less than most people think. A rough idea of what you want the site to do, whatever you already have — a logo, photos, an old site — and the questions your customers ask you most. If you don't have those yet, we work them out together in the first conversation.

Do you build more than websites?

Yes. We also build custom operations software — the system that tracks your jobs, costs, paperwork and people, with your accounting and payments wired in so nothing gets typed twice. See custom software in the NWT →

Who actually builds my website — do I get passed to someone else?

No. The person you talk to first is the person who builds it, and the same person you call afterwards when something needs changing. There is nobody to be escalated to, because there is nobody in between. A real person in Inuvik replies within one business day.

Do I own the website when it's finished?

Yes — you own it, you don't rent it. The domain, the hosting and the code sit in your business's name, so if you ever decide to move to another builder, nothing has to be rebuilt from scratch and nothing is held hostage. It's worth asking before you sign anything, with us or with anyone else. The questions to ask any web builder →
